The sprawling bamboo grove is a perfect place for some Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing). It is also one of the most photographed places in the world.

Over the years, lava deposits from the eruption of Mount Aso have formed this stunning gorge. Rock columns and cliffs will accompany you as you take a boat ride on the river down below.
